Nepal National Team has started training from today amid heavy rainfall at Chyasal football ground for Nehru Cup which is starting on August 22 at New Delhi, India.
Twenty two players out of twenty nine players took part in the training session.
Jitendra Karki ( Nepal Army), Tanka Basnet(Nepal Army), Bikash Malla(Nepal Army), Sabindra Shrestha(LH MMC), Dinesh Thapa (MFC), Bijay Gurung(LH MMC) and Rabin Shrestha(NPC) didn't turn up for the training session.
Nepal Army players , Jitendra Karki and Tanka Basnet didn't arrive today at training ground as ANFA couldn't send release letter to Nepal Army Club on Saturday(holiday). ANFA has sent the letter to the club today so that Nepal Army players will join training session from tomorrow.
Nepal's participation for Nehru Cup was confirmed on Friday.
Injured Nepal International goalkeeper Bikash Malla and ill Nepal International defender Rabin Shrestha will not join training.
Bikash Malla ruptured his ACL last month during a training session at Nepal Army Camp. Rabin Shrestha underwent for surgey of his left perforated eardrum. Shrestha caught post operative infection on his operated ear.

LH MMC defender Sabindra Shrestha will join team on Thursday as he is busy preparing for British Army examination in Pokhara.
Dinesh Thapa and Bijay Gurung are out of Kathmandu valley at their home town. They will join team shortly.
Nepal is taking part in Nehru Cup along with Cameroon, Maldives, Syria and hosts India. India is organizing the championship to mark 75th anniversary of All India Football Federation.
