Here is a surprise - Nepal National U-22 midfielder Jagjeet Shrestha owns a football club.
Shrestha registered "Bhaktapur FC" four months ago in Bhaktapur District Sports Development Committee making him the youngest football boss in Nepal.
Shrestha is in his early 20s.
"I registered Bhaktapur FC four months back aiming that I could contribute something to Nepalese football", young but ambitious Shrestha said, "It was really difficult when I started to materialize the idea. But I did it with the support of my friends".
Interestingly, all the members in the club are below 20 years of age. Sushil Prajapati, Nirmal Baskota, Anjan Lakha and Suren Suwal are the members of the club.
"Everybody says that I am an angry boy. This is not true", Jagjeet Shrestha, "I have changed a lot with time. I am now a sensible boy".
"The idea behind starting the football club is to gather young talents from Bhaktapur and provide football knowledge to them", Shrestha said, "We have received overwhelming response from the local kids as we have 50 (U-14 & U-16) youths training with us".

What about finances?
"Well, I haven't gone anywhere in Bhaktapur asking for money", Shrestha said, "What I believe is you need to prepare yourself before spreading your hands for help. We haven't started well and we need time to do the things well".
"We have a practice field for which we don't need to pay and we have managed to bring two sets of practice jersey from Nepal National U-22 camp for kids", Shrestha said, "We have problems buying footballs but we have managed to buy some footballs with the help of my friends".
"I am happy that interested youths have joined the club", Shrestha said, "They come to the practice field regularly and that motivates me to work hard".
"Currently, we have two teams, U-14 and U-16", Shrestha said, "I am teaching them basic things. We play friendly match regularly with Birendra Sainik Awasiya Mahabidhyalaya to provide match exposure to the boys".
"They have learned a lot in a very short time", Shrestha said.
