Kanchanjunga Challenge Cup football tournament is being held in Fungling, the district HQ of Taplejung.

  24 teams are participating in the championship which has a cash purse of Rs 50,000. The runners team will get Rs 25,000.

The teams from Sunsari, Morang, Jhapa and Panchthar are participating in the championship, Taplejung FA official told GoalNepal.com

On Saturday, Rising Sports Club, Dharan, Manmaya Club & Dokhu Club Taplejung won their respective matches.
