United Youth Club Dudhe defeated Srijana Youth Club, Topgachhi 5-3 on penalties to move second round in Jiljhile football tournament played in Jhapa District on Saturday.

The match was forced to spot kick battle after both teams played 1-1 in regulation time.

Ashok Rai had put United Youth ahead in the match but Bikram Laxam levelled the score for Srijana Youth.

In the second match of the day, DYC Dharampur defeated KYC Sanichare 3-0.

Arun Shrestha, who plies his trade with Mega Three Star Club, scored twice while Santosh Tamang scored another for the winning side.

Jhiljhile Sports Committee is organizing the championship in which 20 teams from Eastern region are participating.
