Hosts Rautahat have secured quarterfinals berth after defeating Taplejung 4-0 in the pre-quarter final match of 14th Ncell National Women's Football Championship played at Chandranigahpur on Thursday.

Hosts Rautahat district played barren first half but scored four goals in the second half to oust stubborn Taplejung.

Supported by more than 2,000 home supporters at Chandranigahapur, Rautahat ladies couldn't show their usual game in the first half but they got their form back in the second half.

Renuka Magar finally broke the deadlock in 51st minute. Sapana Lama sent the supporters in cloud nine as she scored in 61st and 71st minutes respectively.

Roshani Rakhal sealed the victory by scoring team's fourth one in 75th minute.
