Taplejung Women thrashed Surkhet Women Team 9-0 in 14th National Women's Championship played at Chandranigahpur on Sunday.
Sapana Rai opened the firing early in 7th minute and doubled the tally a minute later.
Amrita Rai scored another in 21st minute while Chambu Gurung made it 4-0 in 26th minute.
It was total lopsided affair as Sapana Rai completed her hat trick in 31st minute.
After the break, Sangita Gurung made 6-0 up for Taplejung in 54th minute. Junita Nepal struck twice in 65th and 67th minutes respectively. Chambu Gurung completed the rout in 81st minute.
