Hosts Bara defeated visitors Udayapur 3-0 to get off to a flying start in 14th National Women's Championship played at Simara on Sunday.

Sapana Gole struck twice while Sapana Basnet scored another goal for the winning team.

Sapana Gole opened the firing in 13th minutes of the game and doubled the tally after the break in 70th minute. Sapana Basnet completed the rout scoring third in 78th minutes.
