Path Finder School are qualified for Coca-Cola Cup Football Tournament as they defeated Satya Sai 4-3 on penalties in the final match of Group B Coca-Cola Cup Selection played at Sanogaucharan ground on Sunday.
 

The match was forced to spot kick battle as both teams played 2-2 draw in the regulation time.

Sudhakar Neupane scored in the 31st minute to provide lead to Path Finder but Satya Sai levelled the score in the 41st minute through Sandesh Khadka. Christopher Rai scored a goal in the 58th minute to make 2-1 up for Path Finder. Abhiyan Ghimire  scored in the 68th minute for Satya Sai to make 2-2 draw.

AFC U-22 goalie and LH MMC goalie Bishal Shrestha and Nepal International defender and HAL defender Rohit Chand were present in the Group B final match to support the goalie of Path Finder who is the brother of goalie Bishal Shrestha.

Namuna English School beat  Sagarmatha School 2-1 in the second match of the day.

Hanshal Subedi and Xavi Tamang scored apiece in the 26th and 56th minute respectively for the winning side while Bijay Sunuwar scored a consolation goal for the losing side.

A goal from Ashok Jagebu in the 11th minute helped Gyanodaya Boarding School  win over World Youth International 1-0 .

Rosebud School defeated Alliance Academy 5-3 on penalties.

Saswot Sunuwar struck twice in 3rd and 19th minute for Rose Bud while Aashish Gyawali and Dipesh Pathak scored apiece in the 36th and 62nd minute to play 2-2 draw in regulation time.

Sagar Magar struck twice to provide victory to Wits Academy over Himchuli Academy. Magar scored in the 20th and 59th minute.

Total 511 school teams of Nepal are participating in the tournament which has a cash prize of Rs.2,00,000.

The tournament is organized by ANFA with the help of Ministry of Sports and is sponsored by Bottlers Nepal Pvt. Ltd., producer of Coca-Cola.
