Rautahat thrashed Nawalparasi 12-0 in the opening match of 14th National Women Championship played at Chandranigahapur on Saturday.

Menuka Thapa and Renuka Nagarkoti scored a hat trick each while Sapana Lama and Roshani Rakhal scored twice each.

Sapana Lama struck twice (35th, 64th) and Roshani Rakhal also added two more goals (5th, 77th) for the winning side.

Sunita Lo added another for Rautahat in the 66th minute while Manju Thapa of Nawalparasi scored in an own post in 22nd minute.
