Nepal Sports Journalists Forum (NSJF) marked World Sports Journalists Day on Monday amidst an interaction program held at NSJF office, Tripueshowr.

National Sports Council member Secretary, Yuvaraj Lama and other officials attended the interaction program.

The World Sports Journalists Day is celebrated across the globe on July 2, the founding anniversary of International Sports Journalists Association (AIPS). NSJF is the only authorized body of AIPS in Nepal.

A-3-day celebration will conclude with the Pulsar Sports Award on Wednesday.

NSC Yuvaraj Lama said Sports Journalists were helpful in guiding the sports agencies to move on the right path with healthy criticism.

NSJF President Niranjan Rajbanshi, NSJF General Secretary Hemanta Kafle delivered their speech in the program, while Secretary Mahesh Acharya read the message from AIPS President Gianni Merlo.
