Queens Gurkha Signals defeated 2RGR 3-2 in a highly contested match played at Art Sandhurst (Army Cadet officers Training Camp) to lift the title of Nepal Cup 2012.

QG Sinal took a playful lead through Brendon Bhattachan while Sanam Thapa doubled the tally in 35th minute.

2 RGR showed their character after conceding two goals and cut the deficit in 41st minutes through Jagat Rana.

soon after the lemon break, 2 RGR levelled the score bringing life to the match. Sanjay Rana levelled the score in 60th minute.

It was Sudan Thapa who stole the limelight by scoring the match winning goal for Queens in 88th minute.

Nepal cup is played within British Gurkha Army teams.

8 teams participated in the tournament which is being held annually since from 1947, when late prime minister Chandra Samsher JB Rana personally presented the trophy to Brigade of gurkhas in 1947.
