Ramesh Budhathoki, a rookie player of Nexus International School has been admitted at Kathmandu Medical College for an operation of his fractured leg which he suffered during Coca Cola Cup match on Friday.
Budhathoki had his leg fractured when he collided with the opponent player. Nexus was taking on Yasodhara Boudha MA VI which the former won 3-1.
The doctor at the venue, Raju Dongol suggested the organizers to take him nearby hospital, Himal but due to unavailability of concerned doctor, Budhathoki was taken to KMC where he is expected to have successful operation.
Total 511 school teams of Nepal are participating in the tournament which has a cash prize of Rs.2,00,000.
