Some of the players of Nepal National team and Nepal U-22 team met on Wednesday in Kathmandu to raise fund for the promotion of Bharat Khawas for Pulsar Popular Player Of The Year Award.

GoalNepal.com was informed that Rs 15,000 was collected from the players.

Earlier on Tuesday, Physio-cum-coach, Nawal Gurung coordinated with Sahara FC UK officials to raise fund of Rs 20,000.

Nepal National team striker-cum-midfielder, Bharat Khawas has been nominated in NSJF Pulsar Popular player of the year award.     

Shakti Gauchan (cricket), Aslesha (Lawn Tennis), Sabita (Athletics), Ramila Tandukar (Volley ball) are also nominated along with Bharat Khawas.

Nepal Sports Journalists Forum (NSJF) is organizing annual NSJF sports awards on July 4 in Kathmandu.    

There are eight categories in the sports awards; Pulsar Player of the year, Pulsar Best Player (Male), Pulsar Best Player (Female), Best Coach, Best Young player, Best Para Athelete, Lifetime Achievement Award, Special award and Popular player of the year.

The best player of the year male & female will get one Pulsar mobike each while other winners in each category will receive Rs 30,000.
