Nepal National U-22 team skipper, Bharat Khawas said that they were physically tired in the match against Jordan after playing three matches in seven days.
Jordan defeated Nepal U-22 3-0 in AFC group D qualifiers on Friday.
Khawas said his team had played good game against Bangladesh, Yemen and Uzbekistan but not against Jordan.
"Actually, we didn't have proper rest. Other teams enjoyed two or three days rest but we had matches in alternate days", skipper Khawas said, "We couldn't match the pace of Jordan because we were physically tired".
Khawas also said that the team should have played some warm up international matches before competiting in the qualifiers.
"We should have played some international matches ahead of the qualifiers", Khawas added, "But we didn't play. If we had, we could have figured out our problems while playing against stronger teams".
"We played well against Bangladesh, Yemen and Uzbekistan but Jordan match was different".
