Defending champions Gandaki Higher Secondary Boarding School and Tops Higher Secondary School entered in quarterfinals in the girls category of Coca-Cola Inter School Selection Football Tournament played at Pokhara stadium on Monday.
Gandaki defeated Kantipur Academy 3-1 and Tops beat Pokhara Academy 3-0.
Babita Thapa scored a hat-trick for Gandaki while Rekha Gurung scored a consolation goal for Kantipur.
Bimala Chaudary struck twice and Gita Thapa Magar scored a goal for Tops.
In boys category, Gandaki Highers secondary Boarding School defeated Bal Bidhya 4-0. Rameshwari beat Sitaladevi 3-0, Bhadrakali defeated Bidhya Niketan 4-2 and The Wisdom defeated SOS Hormon Minor in sudden death.
