Little Step Higher Secondary School and Saraswati Bidhyashram secured quarterfinals of Coca-Cola Inter- school Selection Football Tournament in girls category on Sunday.

Jasmine Gurung's goal helped Little Step win over Harward Academy 1-0.

In another match of ladies category, Saraswati Bidhyashram beat Social Public Boarding School 3-2 on penalties.

Similarly, Eight matches were played in boys category on Sunday.

Saraswati Higher Secondary School defeated Learner Academy 2-1.

Suraj Gurung and Amit Kc scored apiece as Janapriya MA VI defeated Sishu Niketan Ma VI 2-0.

Bindhyabasini Ma VI defeated Shiva Shakti 4-1 on penalties in another match played at the same venue.


73 boys team and 18 girls team are participating in this school level tournament being held at Pokhara. 20 government schools and 53 private schools are representing  the boys team while 3 government schools and 15 private schools are representing for the girls team.

The tournament is being organised by ANFA in the sponsorship of Bottlers Nepal Terai Limited while it is managed by ANFA Kaski.
