Nepal National U-22 team skipper Bharat Khawas said that he wasn't carried away with a 4-1 win over Bangladesh U-22 team in the opening tie of AFC U-22 group D qualifiers on Saturday.
Bharat Khawas scored an opening goal, Sujal Shrestha struck twice and Jagjeet Shrestha scored another as Gorkhali tamed Bengali Tigers at Dasrath Stadium.
Speaking with the press after the match, skipper Khawas said that the team still had some rooms to improve and they would rectify all mistakes before taking on Yemen next on 18th June.
"We shouldn't be carried away. I am not. We still need to work hard and we have many things to improve", skipper Bharat said, "We will rectify all mistakes before we take on Yemen in our next match".
Khawas also thanked his boys for lively show on the park.
"I would like to thank all of them. This is my first international match under armband and I am happy for the win", Khawas said, "We will play better game in coming matches".
