Sujal Shrestha struck twice, Skipper Bharat Khawas and Jagjeet Shrestha scored apiece as sensational Nepal National U-22 hammered toothless Bangladesh U-22 4-1 in AFC U-22 group D Qualifiers played at Dasrath Stadium on Saturday.
Skipper Bharat Khawas gave Nepal an early lead in 5th minute when he capitalized on a cross from Anil Ojha. His header was all enough to stun Bangaldeshi National team goalie, Shahidul.
Nepal should have opened the account quite early but Rupesh KC, who was outstanding throughout the match, failed to touch on the ball when nobody was swimming at bay in the 3rd minute.
After scoring the goal, Nepalese team looked confident but remained fragile in frequent intervals.

Nepalese team lost the ground after half and hour mark and had to suffer a lot before going to lemon break.
Just before the break, Jagjeet Shrestha came closer to the goal twice but his finishing was too blunt that denied Nepal another lead before going the break.
It was a deadly shock to Gorkhalis soon after the break. Deepak Bhushal scored in an own post while clearing the ball. The Bangladeshi equalizer left thousands of Nepalese football fans frustrated at the stadium.
But, thenafter, Nepalese team showed their real character. Jagjeet Shrestha proved that if he could missed goals, he could score also. He did it by heading the ball into the net in 61st minute.

It was a brilliant header from Jagjeet Shrestha that kissed the net leaving Bengali goalie completely stranded. The leading goal brought life in Nepalese squad as they continued to press hard for the goals.
Sujal Shrestha extended the tally six minutes later when he capitalized on a cross from Jagjeet Shrestha. The third goal for Nepal looked enough for win but Sujal Shrestha had otherwise in his mind.
Diving header by Shrestha in the stoppage time was all enough to make the final score line 4-1. In the first match of the day, Jordan defeated Yemen 4-0.
