Sahara Club has announced that they have made a profit of Rs 1m from 10th Aaha Gold Cup, which is whooping Rs 1.7m less than the previous edition.
Sahara Club organized the press meet Saturday morning at Club's office where the president of the club, Bikram Thakali said, "We could make just Rs 1m this year from the Championship".
The collected amount will be spent on Sahara Football Academy.
The Club informed that total Rs 5.266m was collected from the entire competition but the expenses reached to Rs 4.253m.
"We are thankful to all supporters", President Bikram Thakali said, "We couldn't collect more profit this year but we are happy with the collection".
Regular football tournaments in Pokhara is expected to be the reason behind less ticket sales in 10th Aaha Gold Cup. Safal Pokhara Cup was held just two months before the 10th Aaha Gold Cup last year.
