Kantipur Academy and Pokhara Academy won the matches in girls category of Coca- Cola Inter school selection football tournament played at Pokhara Stadium on Thursday.
A hat-trick of Rekha Gurung helped Kantipur Academy to make a victory over Hill Point Higher Secondary School 3-2. Indira Dura and Sabina Gurung scored a goal each for Hill Point.
In another match, Pokhara Academy defeated Bal Mandir School 2-0. Prakiti Timilsina and Nilima Kandel scored goal each for he winning side.
Kantipur Academy will take on defending champions Gandaki Higher Secondary School and Pokhara Academy will take on Tops Higher Secondary school in next match.
Eight matches were held in boys category on Thursday.
Sitila Devi Ma Vi defeated Shinning Star school 2-1 . Sandip Goreth and Amir Gurung scored goal each for the winning side while Tirsal Nepali scored a consolation goal for the losing side.
Each goal from Suleman Thapa and Dewen Gurung helped Gyanubaba higher secondary school win over Dynamic Academy 2-1. Arjun Gurung scored a consolation goal for the losing side.
Gandaki Boarding School beat Siddhi Binayak School 2-0. Akech Man Buddhacharya and Samrat scored goal each for Gandaki.
BalMandir Ma Vi defeated Shrijana Higher secondary school 3-2 on penalties.
Bhadrakali Higher secondary school defeated Indrarajya Laxmi Ma Vi 3-2.

The wisdom Boarding School defeated National Inventive Boarding School 4-3 on penalties.
73 boys team and 18 girls team are participating in this school level tournament.20 government schools and 53 private schools are representing the boys team while 3 government schools and 15 private schools are representing for the girls team.
