Banepa Boys have won the title of 1st PUFA Cup football tournament played at Panchkhal, Kavre on Saturday.

BBC Banepa defeated Spark Health Home 1-0 to lift the title. Man-of-the-final Ram Thapa scored the match-winning goal in the 23rd minute.

Banepa received Rs 100,000, while the runners-up had to satisfy with Rs 50,000.

Gurung ‘B’ of Spark Health was declared the highest scorer, while Dhiraj Sunuwar of the winning side was adjudged the best goalkeeper and Prakash Vaidhya the best coach.

All individual winners along with Fair Play Team Navajyoti Youth Club got Rs 5,000 each.
