All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) is in "wait & see" position for up-coming AFC U-22 group D qualifiers after prolong political turmoil in Nepal.
GoalNepal.com earlier reported that AFC had shown its concern over Nepal's political situation and ANFA was regularly updating about the situation to AFC.
When the qualifiers is just five days away to kick off, ANFA has informed about the situation of Nepal to AFC and also to the participating teams.
"We are in wait & see position", ANFA President Ganesh Thapa said, "We will make the final decision after seeing the situation in coming two days".
"If we have to postpone, we will host the qualifiers again after two weeks in Kathmandu if the normalcy is restored", Thapa was quoted as saying by ANFA official.
Nepal is yet to finalize its final squad due to uncertainty of the qualifiers in Kathmandu.
AFC is yet to publish its official statement regarding the group D qualifiers in Nepal.
