Bangladeshi Premier League Clubs have agreed to release their players for the AFC U-22 Group D Qualifiers training camp of the Bangladesh U-22 National team.
The acting General Secy of Bangladesh FA, Abu nayeem Shohag informed media in Dhaka that the Clubs have agreed to release the players for the Qualifiers.
However, the players will get back to their respective clubs a day before their league matches and will return to the training immediately after the match day, it was decided at a meeting of the clubs' with the professional football league committee yesterday.
The meeting also decided to suspend the ongoing league for a week, corresponding to the tournament (Jun 2-10), informed BFF's acting general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag.
The clubs have also agreed to play one of their remaining matches without their players who were chosen for the U-22 team as the matches of the 17th round are supposed to be completed by June 7 when the U-22 national team will be in Nepal.
