Asian Football Confederation (AFC) C Certificate course has begun from Friday here at ANFA Complex, Satdobato, Lalitpur.
16 Coaches from Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Bangladesh are taking part in the course.
AFC Coaching Instructor, Mithily Subramanium and Assistant instructor, Choki Nima will train the young coaches.
The course includes theory and practical classes.
AFC U-14 Festival Football 2012 Project Manager, Jon Whittle congratulated the participants for undertaking the course and urged them to learn more about the game and deliver the same for the development of the game.
"To get certificates only should not be the main aim of the course", Whittle added, "The coaches should learn well and they should make it a behavioral case".
Coaching Instructor, Subramanium praised ANFA for organizing so many coaching programs in Nepal.
"I would like to appreciate ANFA for organizing the coaching programs in Nepal. It will definitely help Nepal to produce good coaches and ultimately the game will prosper", Subramanium said.
ANFA VP, Narendra Shrestha, CEO, Indraman Tuladhar, Development Dierctor, Sanjib Mishra and Sub-Treasurer, Rabin Joshi were present in the opening ceremony.
