All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) on Sunday revealed that injury hit Nepal Police Club requested ANFA to provide some players for the friendly match against visiting McDowells Mohun Bagan on 12th May at the Dasrath Stadium.
Nepal Police Club Coach, Birat Krishna Shrestha admitted that they had a chat with ANFA President about the injury list of the players and asked ANFA to provide some Nepal International players for the friendly match against Mohun Bagan.
"I told ANFA President that we do not have completely fit players in the team and it would be difficult for us to play against Indian strong side with unfit players. Then ANFA President had assured me of providing some Nepal International players", Coach Shrestha told GoalNepal.com in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
ANFA President Ganesh Thapa on Sunday revealed in the press conference that Santosh Sahukhala, Bharat Khawas, Sandeep Rai, Biraj Maharjan , Kiran Chemjong would be included in the Police team and ANFA was ready to provide more if coach Birat Krishna Shrestha would demand more players.
The friendly match is organised by ANFA and sponsored by United Spirits Ltd. The match will kick off at 6 PM and tickets price is Rs.200 and Rs.600 for open and closed parafit respectively.
