Machhindra FC's Under14 team has begun training at FutsalArena in Thamel, in preparation for the NepalBank Under14 Tournament.
"We will be training twice a week at the FutsalArena for the next few weeks to get our boys ready for the tournament," commented Nabin Munakarmi, the youth coach at Machhindra.
"The FutsalArena provides a private setting for our players to train and gives us a great surface to work on technical development," the former White Lion (the updated nickname of Machhindra FC) player added.
Machhindra FC U14 team has been training for over a month and recruiting players from across Kathmandu Valley for ANFA's sole youth tournament for clubs.
The Young Lions train 5 times a week at Khula Munch and now two days at FutsalArena. They have narrowed their youth squad to 25 players and will be cutting a few more players after they are assigned their ANFA Academy quota of players.
