Goal Scorer Bharat Khawas Dedicates His Goal To Fans & GF
Jul 29, 2011 12:12:46 PM

Bharat Khawas has become a goal machine for Nepal.

Khawas  helped Nepal to go through the final round of AFC Challenge Cup 2012 as he was the one who scored  the only goal (against Afganistan) in the total three matches that Nepal played  against Afganistan, Srilanka and DPR Korea. Nepal drew with Srilanka 0-0 and lost the match against DPR Korea 1-0 in the AFC Challenge Cup Qualifiers held in Kathmandu in April.

Khawas again brought smile on the face of Nepalese people with his equalizer against Jordan. Super Sub, Khawas leveled the score for Nepal utilizing a pass from Santosh Sahukhala in the 80th minute  in the second leg match against Jordan in FIFA World Cup qualifiers on Thursday.  This is his third International goal. (One each against Pakistan (2008), Afghanistan and Jordan)
“I always want to score for my country”, Khawas said, “Santosh released a beautiful pass inside Jordan D-box and I was unmarked there. I didn’t think much and shot powerfully. Luckily, it was well connected and kissed the net”.

“I am dedicating this goal to all Nepalese football lovers, my teammates, coaches and especially to my girlfriend”, shy boy smiles!

Oh, you lucky girl!
