Nepal suffered 3-0 loss at the hands of Tajikistan in a very important match of AFC Asian Cup 2019 group F qualification at Central Hisor stadium, Hisor, Dushanbe.

Nepal needed to win the match to remain in the fray for qualification but now they are now almost out from the process though they have two more matches to play.

Nepal will now host Philippines at home in November and will travel to Doha to play against Yemen in March next year.

In today's match, Davronov scored the opener in 20th through spot after Ananta Tamang handled the ball inside the box.

After the break, Tajikistan doubled the lead in 60th minute through Parvizdzhon after Ananta again commited a foul inside the box.

Aaditya Chaudhary committed a silly mistake in 86th minute to award third spot kick to Tajikistan. Dzallilov converted the kick easily.

Nepal have just a point in the group. Philippines will take on Yemen in Doha this evening.
