AIG Bigyan Raj Sharma Visiting Various Districts To Lobby Football Officials ?
May 24, 2016 10:45:22 AM - AIG Bigyan Raj Sharma Visiting Various Districts To Lobby Football Officials ?
Former Nepal international and current AIG of Nepal Police, Bigyan Raj Sharma is "surprisingly" visiting various districts to attend final matches and to meet football officials - which is rare in Nepalese football scene.

Sharma was the chief guest at 1st Nepalgunj Gold Cup in Banke and 1st Satashi Gold Cup in Jhapa. He was in Pokhara yesterday. He also visited Sahara football academy and donated Rs 10,000.

Sources said ANFA establishment wants Sharma to become the president of ANFA.

FIFA, recently, asked ANFA to reinstate four suspended officials and to hold presidential election to replace disgraced Ganesh Thapa.

ANFA has already mentioned that they would reinstate those officials and hold ordinary congress to finalize the date of election.

Source adds that those nominated officials at ANFA and suspended Ganesh Thapa don't want the four suspended officials to come to ANFA.

"ANFA establishment is playing a new game at ANFA. They are bringing AIG Bigyan Raj Sharma upfront", added source.

AIG Sharma hasn't publicly expressed his desire to become the president but there is a rumour that suspended Ganesh Thapa is pushing him forward for the post.
