GoalNepal.com can officially confirm that FIFA has written a letter to All Nepal Football Association to reinstate three suspended VPs and one exco member by May 23 and to hold election to replace suspended ANFA president Ganesh Thapa through ordinary congress.

Narendra Shrestha - who is not an exco member- is currently acting president of ANFA.

FIFA's assistant general secretary, Dr Markus Kattner has addressed ANFA's general secretary Dhirendra Pradhan in the letter.

GoalNepal.com has received the letter in which Dr. Kattner has told FA to reinstate the officials first and has asked them to hold the election for the presidency through ordinary congress as soon as possible.

Those three suspended VPs are Karma Tsering Sherpa, Bijaya Narayan Manandhar and Kishor Jhapali. Another suspended exco member is Pankaj Nembang. ANFA had suspended the officials for not attending the exco meeting thrice.

When asked to VP Karma Tsering Sherpa, he confirmed that he had received the letter but didn't want to comment on it.

ANFA CEO Indraman Tuladhar also confirmed they had received a letter from FIFA but he didn't want to elaborate more.

FIFA said its officials would meet acting president Narendra Shrestha, general secy Dhirendra Pradhan in Mexico City to discuss about the decision made by the governing body.

Ganesh Thapa - who took control of ANFA for two decades - was suspended by FIFA for 10 years for his involvement in corruption. Thapa - whose appeal at FIFA was rejected last month - said he would now move to CAS challenging 10 yr ban.

His corruption case at ANFA (58 Crore which PAC of Constituent Assembly predicted) is put on hold by CIAA.
