Oct 26, 2015 04:21:25 PM - AFC Slaps USD 14,500 Fine To Nepal For Fielding Overage Player In AFC U16 Qualifiers
Asian Football Federation (AFC) has found Nepal U-16 Skipper Manish Karki overage.

AFC did MRI of three players - Nepal U-16 goalie Arpan Karki, Skipper Manish Karki and forward Rezen Subba-  in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan in recently held AFC U-16 Group B Qualifiers.

Asian football Confederation(AFC) has disqualified Nepal National U-16 Team from AFC U-16 Championship for fielding the overage player in all three matches of AFC U-16 Qualifiers held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan last month.

AFC is releasing statement on Tuesday and it is learned that they have slapped a fine of USD 14,500 USD for fielding overage player in the tournament.

Nepal U16 was selected to the final round of AFC U-16 Championship India 2016 as one of the best runners up team.

In the previous edition also, Nepal was fined USD 2000 by ANFA for fielding overage players.

If the players have sold their country by fixing the matches and are facing treason charge, don't you think ANFA should also face the same charge for deceiving country?
