ANFA confirmed that Far Western Football Club (Kailali)
had bought 16 Nepal U17 players for upcoming National League.
ANFA had opened bidding for U17 players for national league participating teams.
Each set of eight players will cost the teams Rs 5 Lakhs. Kailali has paid Rs 13 Lakhs to ANFA for the players. It is not clear if the players will get money out of the deal.
The players are:
Sujit Gurung (FWD), Shiva Subedi (FWD), Gaurav Budathoki (MF), Dinesh Rajbansi (DF), Sudin Thapa (DF), Amit Tamang (DF), Dev Raj Limbu (GK) and Ravi Bhandari (MF), Sunil Bal (FWD), Janam Man Ligal (FWD), Hemanta Thapa Magar (MF), Tejendra Pun (MF), Kamal Thapa (MF), Akash Tamang (DF), Akash Thapa (DF), Srijan Shrestha (GK).
Meanwhile, ANFA has also released four players; Anjan Bista, Roman Rasaili, Anil Rai and Rupesh Tamang for the national league.
NPC, Nepal Army, MMC have already registered players for the championship. Five teams from Kathmandu and four teams from outside the valley will take part in the championship.
ANFA is planning to start national league from Magh 7 on home and away basis. The winning team of the championship will get Rs 1 Crore.
