This lovely, humble, meek boy has so many things to tell after coming from Shillong..

Nepal and Shillong Lajong Striker, Anil Gurung shared some of his special moments of his stay with SLFC.

Excerpts from the talks:

GN: Welcome Back, Anil. You look fresh and excited. How was your Journey with SLFC?
Anil: Thank You. I am excited because home is sweet home. It was memorable and excited seven months with SLFC. I collected so many things which I would remember in my whole life.

GN: Can you share some?
Anil: I enjoyed a lot  while  staying in Shillong. Mainly, we had to travel here and there. We always had a busy schedule. Indian football have improved a lot. They have better insfrastructure and good money. We played well in knockout tournaments but couldn't do well in I-League.

GN: Share us your I-League experience
Anil: It was wonderful. I played most of the games. I scored three goals in the I-League. We had a good team but since all of the players were playing I-league for the first time, we couldn;t hold our tempo and lost the matches against lowly teams. Seven months which was spent with the club was amazing.

GN: Are you going to come back Nepal or play in India?
Anil: What i feel is I have plenty of football to play in me. I always wanted to play in big games and with big teams. What i feel is my international journey is still on.

GN: That means you are going to stay in India?
Anil: As I said that my international Journey is still on, I would love to enjoy and explore my game in foreign country.

GN: What was the respone to you from the Club?
Anil: Excellent. SLFC boss was always kind to me. There were so many Nepalese speaking people around me. So, I always felt that I was at home.

GN: Wish you all the best for future.
Anil: Thank you so much GoalNepal.com. Also, my love to all Nepalese football fans, officials and supporters, I missed them so much. They are always in my heart.
