Birgunj Youth Academy Club player cum coach Ritu Shakya had  five stiches on his head as he collided with Som Thapa in today's match against Nayabasti Saksham Youth Club in Redbull B Division League.

 

Shakya was immediately rushed to hospital after providing minor medical treatment at Dashrath Stadium.

Injured Shakya is worried about relegation threat but he is determined to save his team from the relegation.

He told GoalNepal.com that he would be available for all the remaining matches.

"I will play in all the next matches. No players can't hold themself if I'm not inside the field.", said 53-year old Shakya.

"This is the first time that we are struggling to survive relegation. "

He also revealed that his players are playing voluntarily.

"We don't pay our players. They play voluntarily."
