Former Nepal international and MMC defender Nabin Neupane said he felt very sad to receive one year ban from ANFA for his aggressive behavior against referee.
Defender Neupane - who received first red card in his 17-yr long domestic career - accepted that he was agressive against referee but added his behavior against referee didn't deserve one year ban.
"Three Star Club vs MMC match is always an exciting tie and the players from both sides want to give their best. In that situation (after a foul) I went to appeal against referee. You can see the video footage of the match. I neither punched him nor assaulted him. It was simply professional pushing which you can see in many league matches".
"I have never said that I don't deserve punishment. I just felt bad for harsh one yr suspension on me", added Neupane.
"It's a stain in my long playing career", Neupane added.
He also thanked all supporters for their kind support provided to him.
"I am thankful to all supporters for their kind support", concluded Neupane.
