Gorkha Boys defeated Jana Jyoti Youth Club 3-2 to enter second round in Ranjan-Sagar Memorial Cup football tournament on Thursday.

Prakash Ghale struck twice while Santosh Ghale scored another for the winning side. Sanjaya Gurung and Suman Thapa scored for the losing side.

Ghale scored the opening goal for Gorkha Boys in 15th minutes. Santosh Ghale doubled the tally in 55th minutes. Prakash again scored in 58th minutes.

Jana Jyoti tried to come back with two late goals but that was insuffient to overcome the loss. Sanjaya Gurung scored in 77th minutes and suman Thapa scored in 89th minutes.

Danu Thapa of Janajyoti was declared "GoalNepal.com man of the match".

Yubaraj Parajuli, president of Sunoulo Sanga, Youth Club gave away GoalNepal.com award to Danu Thapa.

ANFA academy Butwal and Sunoulo Sangam Youth Club are jointly organizing the event.
