All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) Kaski president Khem Bahadur Gurung informed GoalNepal.com that the preparation for the 2nd Safal Pokhara Cup championship was over.

  ANFA Kaski is organizing the championship from October 30 at Pokhara football stadium.

12 teams - nine home teams and three foreign teams - are participating in the championship which has a cash purse of Rs 3,05,000.

ANFA kaski president, Gurung said, "We have completed all preparation for the championship. We are all set to go".

"We have maintained the football pitch and we have also finished the work of scaffolding where we can accommodate more than 1000 fans in the makeshift parapet".


Meanwhile, the organizing committee held motorcycle rally in Pokhara Sunday morning.

The rally started from Prithvichowk and ended at Pokhara Stadium.

NIBL Friends Club will take on Armed Police Force in the opening match of 2nd Safal Pokhara Cup football tournament On Kartik 14, according to FA secretary, Buddhi Khatri.

LH MMC, Drukpole FC, Team from Bangladesh and Team from India have received byes in the first round.
