Prayag United XI clinched the title of 2nd sanmigule Mechi Gold Cup as they defeated Church Boys United 1-0 in the final match of 2nd Sanmiguel Mechi Gold Cup played at Kakarvitta High School Ground on Saturday.
Joychandra Singh scored the match winning goal in the 41st minutes of the first half.
Singh was declared man of the final.
Saraswati Club striker, Yona Elias was adjudged best player of the tournament.
ANFA VP Kishor Jhapali and other distinguished guests distributed prizes to the winners and runners up.
Prayag United Rs 1 Lakh while the runners up team got Rs 50,000.
