2nd Safal Pokhara Cup is all set to go from Kartik 14 in Pokhara.

The ANFA Kaski, the local organizers, have almost completed its preparation for the championship.

On Friday, ANFA Kaski held a press meet at ANFA Complex Satdobato to inform the press about the forthcoming championship.

ANFA Kaski prez Khem Bahadur Gurung informed GoalNepal.com that the main sponsor of the event, Safal Milk had increased the sponsorship amount from Rs 8 Lakhs to Rs 1.2m.

The tournament coordinator, Gopi Bhattarai promised to make the tournament successful and memorable.

Bhattarai also informed that the ANFA Kaski would honor the senior player from Pokhara with Rs 25,000 cash.

12 teams - Nine from home and three from abroad - will take part in the championship which has a cash purse of Rs 3,05000.
